About Ekmattra Society
Ekmattra Society serves as a platform dedicated to advancing the welfare of underprivileged children.
Our vision is to cultivate a society where every child is valued, devoid of discrimination, and where their holistic development and safety are upheld as collective responsibilities.
We are committed to nurturing the present generation to pave the way for a more meaningful and inclusive future.
Since its establishment in 2004, Ekmattra Society has impacted the lives of over 10,000 underprivileged children by providing essential support, including education, rehabilitation, sustenance, clothing, and psychological assistance, both in the streets of Dhaka and through the Ekmattra DBB Academy located in Haluaghat, Maymensingh.
About Ekmattra Handicraft
In 2016, Ekmattra Society, committed to empowering underprivileged communities, initiated the Ekmattra Handicraft Factory as part of its income-generating initiatives.
This endeavor aimed to offer employment opportunities to struggling local mothers in Maymensingh, Haluaghat, empowering them to sustain their families and nurture their children.
By enhancing their skills in crafting jute-based handicrafts, the factory endeavors to uplift these women and improve their livelihoods.
Serving as a pivotal income source for Ekmattra Society, the factory has steadily expanded its workforce and infrastructure, moving closer to its vision of an ideal workplace.
Through such initiatives, Ekmattra Society continues to make a profound and lasting impact.
